Our charter company is a one boat family operation catering to small groups of 8-10 fishermen (or fisherwomen). Our small numbers allow us to offer help and advice to both learners and the more experienced.
Carnarvon and the offshore islands teem with a huge variety of fish in pristine waters. Brett, our skipper, knows all the good spots and his enthusiasm will ensure that the week away will never be forgotten.
We practice conservation to the extreme and all under or oversized fish are returned to the ocean. To date, all of our clients have caught their quotas which, at today's prices, pay for about half their charter cost.
Good value charters are hard to find due to dwindling fish stocks. Carnarvon with its limited accommodation and docking facilities has only two operators.
Our fishing areas include Bernier Island for Snapper, Emperor, Cod, Groper, Mackerel and many other species. Good and plentiful variety of fish to catch. We supply the latest Shimano rods and reels plus bait and Rapala lures to tempt the big ones.
A game fishing chair is installed in case anyone needs some help bringing in the big ones and outriggers are set up for game, mackerel or shark fishing.
When not looking after our full-time guests, our boat is available for day fishing or sight-seeing trips out of Carnarvon. She can be utilised for trips to view Whales, Dugongs, Dolphins and if we?re lucky (as we were in 2009), Whale-Sharks. We also have spots for day fishing in most weeks of our 2010 season.
