Carnarvon Tracking Station - in Westernaustralia was a tracking station used by NASA.  It was built in 1963 for the Gemini program, the second step for NASA's plan to put a human on the Moon.

Kennedy Ranges National Park -Francis Thomas Gregory explored areas of the Gascoyne and Murchison and named the Kennedy Range in 1858 in honour of the then Governor of Western Australia, Arthur Edward Kennedy.  A most beautiful stretch of back country in our part of the world.

Mount Augustus National Park - According to the Geological Survey of Western Australia, Mount Augustus is an asymmetrical anticline - rock layers that have been folded into an arch-like structure - which is steeper on its north-eastern side than the south-west.

Quobba Station - 80km North of Carnarvon on the Blowholes Road.  From the Quobba coastline experience game fishing, whale watching (seasonal), snorkelling and spectacular sight seeing.

Gnaraloo is a working sheep station on the Western Australian coast, North of Carnarvon.  Famous for its stunning coastline, wildlife and fishing.  Legendary for its waves and wind.  Swim, snorkel or dive on the Ningaloo Reef, walk and explore the area.  Then relax with a drink to watch some of the best sunsets in the world.

Bidgemia Station is 11km east of Gascoyne Junction and 170 kms east of Carnarvon, in the heart of the great Australian Outback with the homestead over looking the Gascoyne River.
