Pioneer Park and Baxter Park

Pioneer Park has two enormous bones from a blue whale, forming an arch over the entrance, leading to a pleasant picnic spot. Further along Olivia Terrace is Baxter Park, another grassed area with excellent playgrounds, including a water park, BBQs and fi tness facilities, adjacent to the Fascine.

Pioneer Cemetery

Located in Richardson Street, reveals much of Carnarvon’s early history.
