Carnarvon is the regional service centre for the Gascoyne and is perfectly positioned between Shark Bay to the south and the Ningaloo World Heritage areas to the north.

Carnarvon and its surroundings are a year round holiday destination offering visitors a chance to rest, relax and recharge. Those wishing for a bit more adventure won’t be disappointed by venturing into the surrounding region to explore, with the Gascoyne’s raw & picturesque coastline located to the north and the rugged inland locations such as the Kennedy Range and Mt Augustus national parks to the east offering a variety of different experiences.

Coral Bay is located 228 kilometres north of Carnarvon and all accommodation overlooks the scenic Bill’s Bay with the Ningaloo reef starting just 50 metres from the shore line allowing easy access for swimming and snorkelling.
