Point Quobba Blowholes ECO Reserve

Point Quobba Blowholes Eco Reserve Campground is a natural, coastal camping area. Eco-friendly, nature-based camping site situated among natural coastal dunes with a gritty surface. Boasts a low impact design to preserve the natural environment.

The splendour of Point Quobba offers quality snorkelling in the Natural Aquarium, great beach and boat fishing and protection for those wishing to cool off in the tranquil waters.

The area offers a natural boat ramp, public toilets for day users and sullage disposal points. NOTE there is no drinking water available on site. Drinking water is available in Carnarvon.

Weather and wind conditions may affect ground stability, including sand movement and surface firmness. Campers are encouraged to check weather forecasts and select sites suitable for their vehicle type. Please come prepared for a variety natural conditions.

Directions:

Point Quobba Blowholes Eco Reserve Campground  is a natural, coastal camping area.  Situated 74km North, North West of Carnarvon.  It is a sealed road all the way. Head 20 km north on the North West Coastal Highway and turn left onto the Blowholes Road.  Follow the road all the way to the end at the King Waves Kills sign.  Turn left,  first right is the Blowholes; first left will take you around to the Point Quobba Blowholes Eco Reserve Campground and Day Area.

Fees and Charges:

With the endorsement of Shire Councillors on Monday, 5 May, the Shire of Carnarvon will be introducing a new access system at the Blowholes Reserve to support sustainable management and enhance the visitor experience. From 22 May 2025, all residence and visitors will be required to hold a valid pass.

New Fee Structure:

  • Day Pass: $10 (covers up to 6 people per vehicle)
  • Camping: $30 per night (per site, up to 6 people)
  • Local Annual Membership: $100 (includes camping and covers 2 vehicles)
  • Please note: campsite bookings are still required for all visitors, including annual pass holders.
