Human Intelligence, Artificial Art by Josh Herrits

Thursday 11th December 2025

Josh has spent his entire life creating stories and artwork for the pure love of the process. He is a proud West Aussie man who has lived in Carnarvon since he was fifteen years old and loves every aspect of the region. Josh recites his mantras of “Don’t judge people by their looks,” plus, “Be kind, be yourself,” and “Strong self, strong spirit,” every day.

With the explosion of artificial intelligence, Josh has found a way to make his creative dreams a reality. “Human Intelligence: Artificial Art” is a demonstration of the way a human’s imagination can harness the power of digital creation. Josh presents the partnership of his mind and the efficiency of computers in artistic character formation, creative writing, and the invention of a new board game. He prefers to work in bold pink, purple, and yellow colours as well as blending creatures from our reality to invent things not yet conceived by any other mind.
