Join us every Thursday at 10:00am at Gwoonwardu Mia for a free screening of It Was Our Home: The Carnarvon Aboriginal Reserve.
This powerful 45-minute film is a heartfelt initiative led by the Carnarvon Aboriginal Reserve Reference Group, made up of Yinggarda Elders. Through their voices, the film preserves the rich history, cultural heritage and lived experiences of the Carnarvon Aboriginal Reserve, honouring the resilience, strength and spirit of its people.
Developed through a meaningful collaboration between Yinggarda Elders, Gwoonwardu Mia and UWA, this is an opportunity to listen, learn and gain a deeper understanding of the stories that continue to shape our community.
